THE WORLD AFTER THE TWO WARS

It is a great pleasure to be in this great country of Pakistan and an honour to be the guest of the Pakistan Institute of International Affairs. As you all know, and Mr. Macadam, who is here, will not contradict me, I am an old friend of the Institutes of International Affairs. I have spoken several times in London, in Canada and also, two years ago, in South Africa and always admired the free discussion and high culture which characterize the meetings of the Institutes.
