Força explosiva, agilidade, flexibilidade e medidas antropométricas de atletas universitárias de Vôlei

2019
Objective. Trace the anthropometric profile and physical abilities in female university volleyball athletics during the pre-competitive period for the Brazilian University Game. Materials and methods. It is a cross-sectional research, “ex post facto” with participation of nine female university athletes, aged 19.78 ± 2.22 years old and weight 178.94 ± 6.37cm. A performed evaluation of height, body mass, flexibility, agility, explosive straight of lower limbs (MMII) was done. Thee ways of jumps were performed: a) crouching jump (SA) b) contra-motion jump (SCM) and the jump pretending the attack (SSA), and upper limbs (MMSS) and the elasticity index (IE) equation used to calculate the difference between the SCM and SA. The data were expressed as mean, standart deviation, minimum and maximum.   The Kolmogorov-smirnov normality test was used using the Stata Software 10.0, with α= 5%. The athletes had a body weight of 68.56 ± 11.67kg, explosive straight for MMSS of 4.46 ± 0.89cm and for MMII, the most outstanding was the SSA with 45.44 ± 5.68cm. Results. The IE was 6.44 ± 5.67% and power for MMII was for SA with 3478.57 ± 891.01W. In the agility athletes presented 6.69 ± 0.65s and the flexibility presented greater emphases for the flexion of the hip with the knee flexed in the right member with 105o.74’ ± 11o.10’ and the left 103o.11’ ± 10o.64’. Conclusions. The university athletes have an anthropometric profile, explosive straight of MMSS and MMII equivalent to national and international volleyball teams.
