Synthesis of Ag@poly Composites with Different Morphologies

2016
Ag@poly composites were synthesized by a facile method. The samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and infrared spectroscopy. Different concentrations and the molar ratios of AgNO3 aqueous solution and p-diamino-azobenzene, as well as the solvent, were used in the synthesis. Different morphologies of treelike structure, polygonal sheets, microrods, microtubes, and dendritic nanostructure were obtained. These results indicate that some synthesis parameters, such as concentrations of solutions, mole ratios of raw materials, and solvents, play important roles in the control of morphology.
