Objectives: This study was conducted to describe relations between the level of problematic drinking and drinking drive. Methods: This study employed the secondary data analysis in which raw data was derived from Korea National Health & Nutrition Examination Survey collected in 2007. A sample of 1,146 adults aged 19 year and over who were motorcycle or car drivers was analyzed by using logistic regression analyses. Results: Year prevalence rate of drinking drive was 17.4%. The higher level of problematic drinking was, the more they had drinking drive, and odd ratio to do drinking drive among those with alcohol use disorder was 7.5 times higher compared to social drinkers. Drinking drive was associated with sex, occupation, safety consciousness level, and the level of problem drinking. Conclusions: A positive relation was found between level of problem drinking and drinking drive after controlling for socio-demographic characteristics and safety consciousness of the driver
