Method and apparatus for controlling a fluid flowing through a fluid system chromatograpisches

A method for controlling a fluid flowing through a chromatographic system, the method comprising determining a fluid parameter related to the density at a first location in the fluid chromatography system; and, in response to said determined fluid parameter, modifying a volumetric flow rate or a pressure at a second point in the fluid chromatographic system to produce a selected mass flow rate of the fluid.
