Introduction of Accelerating RF Cavities

2020
The most basic way to accelerate charged particles in particle accelerators is to use an electric field stored in radio frequency resonators, which are cavity resonators or simply RF cavities. In a particle accelerator, the cavity must have beam holes and beam pipes that allow a particle beam to pass through it.
