Method for treating waste water from copper smelting by using modified ardealite

The invention discloses a method for treating waste water from copper smelting by using modified ardealite, which comprises the following steps: (1) preparing modified ardealite: adding modifiers into the ardealite and mixing uniformly, wherein the modified ardealite comprises 55 to 65 percent of ardealite, 25 to 45 percent of fly ash and 5 to 10 percent of quick lime; (2) absorption: adding the modified ardealite into the waste water from copper smelting according to a ratio of 10Kg/m , mixing, stirring, contacting for one hour, filtering, and detecting the content of copper ions, zinc ions, cadmium ions and other ions of the treated filtrate; and (3) absorbent treatment: settling, dehydrating and drying the absorbent so that the absorbent can be used as a building material.
