The invention discloses a novel copper finery oxy-fuel combustion system. The novel copper finery oxy-fuel combustion system comprises a fuel pipeline system, a combustion supporting gas pipeline system, a finery and a control system, the fuel pipeline system comprises a fuel pipeline for providing a fuel and a fuel regulating valve arranged on the fuel pipeline, the combustion supporting gas pipeline system comprises a pure oxygen pipeline for providing oxygen with the purity of 85-99.9% and an oxygen valve arranged on the pure oxygen pipeline, the refinery is provided with a burner, the burner is provided with a fuel inlet and a plurality of combustion supporting gas inlets positioned in the periphery of the fuel inlet, the fuel pipeline is connected to the fuel inlet on the refinery, and the pure oxygen pipeline is connected to the combustion supporting gas inlets on the refinery. The combustion system has the advantages of simple structure, full fuel combustion, great reduction of requirements of a refractory material in the finery, no increase of a cooling device or a denitration device, great saving of the production cost, and reduction of pollution to environment.
