Evaluation of Network CAPEX and Performance in SDM Optical Networks

In this paper, we concentrate on investigating the network CAPEX and performance considering several advanced technologies in SDM optical networks: i) spatial & spectral super-channels; ii) (fractional) (joint) optical switching; iii) space lane change.
