Using a staggered-wakening procedure with enuretic children in an institutional setting☆

1975
Abstract A variation of Young's staggered-wakening procedure was successfully employed to alter enuretic behavior in children living in an institutional setting. The variation entailed the sequential introduction of the procedure in each of three cottages, using a multiple baseline design (Baer, Wolf and Risley, 1968), and applying the technique on a variable-interval schedule. The gains were maintained in most S s following the fading out of the intervention procedure.
