The article examines the most common sites of metastatic RCC and their different appearances, as seen at multidetector CT; introduces the new antiangiogenic therapies used to treat metastatic RCC; and reviews the different classifications that use CT to evaluate tumor response to antiangiogenic therapy in a practical, simple manner.
