The influence of green bristlegrass on three turfgrass species under heat and drought conditions.

No matter the height of turf was higher or lower than or as high as that of green bristlegrass, the heights of the three turf which were 10cm or so increased and their output reduced after getting to the temperature during 26-37deg C and water less than 40% for 7 d. The increase degree of these three turf heights in the density of 100-200 plants per square meter of green bristlegrass is two times as that in others scopes of green bristlegrass density, that the output decrease degree of these three turf was less half weight at the density of 150 plants per square meter of this weed planted at same place with turf together.
