The Use of Dynamic Environment Library to Achieve Controlling of Atomic Spontaneous Emission Process

The regulation of the spontaneous emission process of the two-level atom in the excited state is studied by using the dynamic environmental library. The central resonant frequency is dynamically modulated, resulting in a dynamic environment library. In the ideal photonic band-gap environment reservoir, we researched the influence of dynamic pulse modulation forms on the evolution of atomic population. The pulse modulation forms are: single rectangular pulse modulation, continuous rectangular pulse modulation, and combined rectangular pulse modulation. The results shown that adjusting the modulation time width effectively suppressed energy dissipation, the system coherence evolution was protected, and the amplitude of atomic population oscillation became larger. The coherence evolution of the system is effectively protected under short-length combined rectangular pulse modulation. The regulation of atomic spontaneous emission can provide a theoretical basis for technical applications in the field of quantum information.
