Connecting rod cracking device and using method thereof

The invention discloses a connecting rod cracking device and a using method thereof. The device comprises a base plate, a fixed plate fixed on the base plate, a sliding plate arranged in a sliding rail on the base board, a cracking seat for positioning and cracking the big end of the connecting rod, a cracking wedge to be pressed into the cracking base during cracking and a movably adjustable positioning plate, wherein the positioning plate is fixedly arranged on a guide slot on the sliding plate through a fixed bolt; the positioning plate is fixedly provided with a positioning pin; a small gasket is arranged between the positioning pin and the inner side of the small end of the connecting rod; and a separate big gasket is arranged between the cracking seat and the inner side of the big end of the connecting rod. While a hydraulic cylinder applies a pressure onto the cracking wedge, the cracking seat converts the downward pressure into a horizontal tensile force to be applied onto the cracking seat, and thus cracking is realized. The device can be used for cracking connecting rods of different specifications.
