Building Resilience to Climate Change in Asian Cities

2011
Climate change will impact urban populations and systems over and above the existing twenty-first century challenges faced by city managers, leaders, and planners. This paper summarises the processes, methods, and tools that are currently being developed through the Rockefeller Foundation’s Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network (ACCCRN). These tools and methods are currently being used and refined by a diverse set of stakeholders working in growing cities across Asia to improve climate change resilience. The findings are drawn from the practice and experience of actors striving to make cities resilient to climate change and climate variability.
