In 30 cancer patients circulating tumor cells (CTCs) were detected with system CellSearch ™ Veridex in peripheral blood. The tendency of increasing of the number of tumor cells from 1 to 4 has been shown after radical surgery in patients with breast cancer stage II, probably it relates to traumatic surgery and as a result, the single tumor cells come in the blood stream. In all patients with stage III colon the threshold of ​​ circulating tumor cells of the 3 cells for colon cancer was not exceeded. In prostate cancer patients with diagnosed bone and liver metastases, and CTCs were detected in the peripheral blood in 57 % cases.
