Effect of Ginkgo biloba on pharmacokinetics of clopidogrel in rats

2013
Objective:To study long-term induction in Ginkgo biloba in rats under in vivo clopidogrel pharmacokineticcharacteristics. Methods: The rats were long-term oral administration of Ginkgo biloba induced joint to clopidogrel, high performance liquid chromatographic determination of its non-active metabolite of SR-26334 concentration, indirectly reflect the plasma concentration of clopidogrel. Results: According to the curve below the plasma concentration drug, the experimental group, the AUC(0-∞)(335.364±39.325) by the statistical moment theory to the control group the AUC(0-∞)(192.318±57.852) was statistically significant, t1/2 Cmax difference was not statistically significant. Conclusion:The long-term after Ginkgo biloba induced in rats can increase the absorption of clopidogrel, but not to increase its absorption rate.
