The invention provides a micro light-emitting diode display panel and a manufacturing method therefor. The micro light-emitting diode display panel comprises a substrate (1), multiple micro light-emitting diodes (2) which are arranged on the substrate (1) in an array manner, a transparent packaging layer (3) for covering the multiple micro light-emitting diodes (2), and a quantum-dot layer (4) which is arranged on the packaging layer (3), wherein the quantum-dot layer (4) is additionally arranged on the packaging layer (3); and the quantum-dot layer (4) is excited by the short-wavelength light emitted from the micro light-emitting diodes (2) to give out light, so that the micro light-emitting diodes (2) and the quantum-dot layer (4) jointly form the basic display unit of the micro light-emitting diode display panel. Therefore, the color gamut of the micro light-emitting diode display panel can be expanded, and the display quality of the micro light-emitting diode display panel can be improved.
