The Research on Power Factor Correction Based on "One-cycle Control"

Traditional analog multiplier,rectified-line-voltage sensor and fixed ramp generator are not needed in Boost PFC circuit by utilizing the novel technique of one-cycle control.As a result,the design of PFC circuit is simplified and the dimension of the device is reduced dramatically.In this paper,the theory of OCC PFC is analyzed in detail and a 500 W PFC corrector based on ICE2PCS02 controller is designed to demonstrate its effectiveness.
