Provided is an electrical wire that is provided with a terminal and that is such that even if the terminal fitting (14) of the electrical wire provided with a terminal, of which the electrical connection section of the terminal fitting (14) and the terminus of an electrical wire conductor (18) has been subjected to anti-corrosion treatment, is exposed to high temperatures while in the state of being housed within the cavity of a connector housing, the material used in the anti-corrosion treatment does not adhere to the inner wall of the cavity of the connector housing. The terminal fitting (14) is connected to the terminus of the electrical wire conductor (18), which is exposed by an insulating body (22) being peeled at the terminus of an insulated electrical wire (12) configured from the outer peripheral surface of the electrical wire conductor (18) being covered by the insulating body (22), and the electrical connection section of the terminal fitting (14) and the terminus of the electrical wire conductor (18) is covered by a thermoplastic resin of which the softening point measured in compliance with JIS K6863 is at least 150°C.
