High-energy muoproduction and vector-dominance model

We have studied muon-nucleon inelastic scattering at high energy and low momentum transfer, induced by 6 GeV and 12 GeV incoming muons in nuclear emulsions. The experimental cross-sections are analysed by means of the vector-dominance model. We have also established a comparison between our values of the cross-section and similar measurements of Dieterleet al. We have finally realized a theoretical fit of these results, using the rho-dominance model.
