We have read the paper by Leung 'The younger the milder clinical course of COVID-19: Even in newborns?' with interest.1 In the article, it was emphasized a severe disease course in neonates compared to the pediatric age group (1 months- 2 years of age) and possible mechanisms for severity in neonatal paeriod was discussed. As the number of people affected by this new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) infections, higher number of newborns have been reported.
