There is provided an information communication method, an information communication device, a program, and a recording medium, the information communication method comprising: a normal photographing step of: photographing first image data by first exposure time in such a way that the exposures of respective exposure lines and the adjacent exposure lines are overlapped partially over the time; a visible light communication step of in the case where a photographed object transmits a signal by a luminance change, photographing second image data by second exposure time shorter than the first exposure time in the same way, and acquiring information by demodulating a bright line pattern emerging in the second image data corresponding to the brightness change of the photographed object and corresponding to each exposure line; and a display step of superimposing the information on the first image data to be displayed; wherein in the visual light communication step, the second exposure time is set to 1/480 seconds or less such that the second image data generates bright line pattern.
