Chinese veterinary medicinal composition for treating hypothermia and preparation method for micro-capsule preparations thereof

2011
The invention discloses a Chinese veterinary medicinal composition for treating hypothermia. The composition comprises malaytea scurfpea fruit, astragalus and prepared common monkshood daughter root. The invention also discloses a preparation method for micro-capsule preparations of the composition. The method comprises the following steps of: weighing the malaytea scurfpea fruit, the astragalus and the prepared common monkshood daughter root in a ratio, adding water, decocting, and filtering; precipitating by using ethanol, and volatilizing the ethanol completely under reduced pressure; adding distilled water, and regulating the pH value to 7 to obtain solution A; adding gelatin into the solution A, stirring, dissolving, and preparing water/oil (W/O) emulsion by using a homogenizer; emulsifying the emulsion with Arabic gum solution to form water/oil/water (W/O/W) composite emulsion; and adding formaldehyde solution, curing, and performing spray drying to obtain the micro-capsule preparations of a malaytea scurfpea fruit extract, an astragalus extract and a prepared common monkshood daughter root extract. When animals with the hypothermia are treated by the composition, the cure rate is over 93 percent, and the economic loss of culturists is reduced effectively.
