Synthesis of trisubstituted pyrimidines by regioselective SNAr and Suzuki reactions of polyhalopyrimidines An efficient, regioselective approach to the synthesis of trisubstituted pyrimidines was developed. Sequential functionalisation of commercially available polyhalopyrimidines provided the target compounds in moderate to good overall yields.
