Birth Control, Drug Abuse, or Domestic Violence? What Health Risk Topics Are Women Willing to Discuss with a Virtual Agent?

The results of a study investigating which health issues women are willing to discuss with a virtual agent are presented, focusing on 108 risks related to maternal and child health. We find that women’s perceived importance of a health issue, along with general self-efficacy and comfort discussing the topic are significant predictors of whether they will address it.
