Final Report of 2002–03 Academic Sections Coordinating Committee

The 2002-2003 year was again successful for the Academic Sections Coordinating Committee (ASCC), due in large part to the excellent work of the ASCC members and the groundwork laid by previous ASCC chairs. An exciting Teacher’s Seminar program has been planned again for this year. Due to the overwhelming success of the “Roundtable Topics” discussions held on Sunday and Monday mornings last year, this programming is being continued and will be held on the same days of the week. Section programming this year is again excellent and thanks to the help of Ms. Jennifer Boykin, the annual meeting programming is now organized into “tracks” to improve the attendee experience. Brief outlines of these initiatives as well as some of the Section and SIG activities over the past year are summarized below.
