교통사고로 인해 트라우마를 겪는 내담자의 심리상담 사례 연구 :눈 운동 민감소실 및 재처리와 기독교 통찰인지를 중심으로
2018
This study explored the characteristics of psychological trauma related to motor vehicle accidents(MVA) and the specific treatment process through analysis of psychological treatment case of client who have suffered psychological trauma due to MVAs. This study utilized EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) as a major psychotherapeutic approach of MVA client, and the reasons are as follows. First, EMDR has been proved to be the most effective treatment method for client’s recovering from PTSD. Second, the negative cognitions (NC) are considered to be one of the symptoms of psychological trauma that the client has, and the cognitive therapy focuses on caring for frozen memories that cause symptoms such as NC rather than trying to change the cognition itself through methods such as dispute. Third, the client who has been immersed in his or her problem during the desensitization process comes to have a dual attention, so he or she can have a view to see his problem somewhat objectively. Fourth, posttraumatic growth can be induced by helping to inject Christian meta‐cognitions into the insight process that occurs during the process of reprocessing traumatic memory and then installing positive cognitions. The above results of this study may be specifically helpful in the manualization of the EMDR psychotherapy method under the reality of lacking counseling cases on MVA.
