Comments concerning “Volumetric properties, viscosity coefficients and aggregation behaviour of DBU-acetate protic ionic liquid in molecular solvents”

Abstract A polemic is given regarding the recent paper published by Musale and coworkers. The authors' calculated apparent partial molar volumes of 2,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-en-8-ium acetate [DBUH][OAc] dissolved in water at 298.15 K are found to be miscalculated, and are not consistent with the experimental density data reported in the paper.
