Related Analysis between Antiviral Treatment Adherence and Quality of Life among HIV/AIDS

Objectives Explore antiretroviral treatment adherence and quality of life,as well as its influence factors.Methods A cross-sectional survey research,which applied demographic scale,WHOQOL-HIV-BRIEF,Medication compliance scale to collect information and used SPSS 13.0 to analysis the data.Results 104 valid questionnaires were received.In this group,the average of medication adherence was 96.38%,among which compliance well accounted for 89.42%;Compared with Chinese norm,quality of life among HIV/AIDS had a lower score except spirituality(P0.01);Patients with good adherence had a better quality of life,and had a significant difference in independence and environment domains(P0.05);In addition,age,income,occupation,infection,CD4+ cell count and hospitalized were relevant with quality of life.Conclusions Medication adherence have already risen in some degree,but still have a low quality of life.To achieve treatment goal and effect,government should carry out comprehensive interventions.
