The crystal structure of “anhydrous manganic acetate”

2010
Anhydrous manganic acetic” is a linear polymer with the empirical formula [Mn3O(OAc)6 · AcOH · OAc]n. The three manganese atoms in the monomeric unit are mutually connected by three pairs of acetate bridges and form an equilateral triangle with an oxygen atom in its centre. Acetic acid molecules and acetate bridges between the monomeric units complete the distorted octahedral coordination about the manganese atoms.
