Research on composite coatings of metals and PTFE

Composite coatings of metals and PTFE were prepared by electroless plating. The surface energy and the tribological properties of the composites were obtained, and the relationship between them was studied. The results show that the wear of the coatings decreases under dry conditions as the surface energy of the coatings decreases.
