Traditionally, the reliability of the power distribution system is calculated by considering the failure rate of the section and the outage duration time based on the switch that separates the load section. The on/off operation of the protection facility can be considered in a more advanced manner, but it is generally assumed that the operation of the protection facility is perfect.The power distribution system switch is an opening and shutting facility that does not shut down the fault current and operates after the protection facility operates. Therefore, on/off control through communication after protective equipment operation is important.In this paper, discuss the reliability calculation of the distribution system considering the failure of communication in the power distribution system.
