Varying Speed and Pitch Control Strategy of MW Variable Speed Constant Frequency Wind Turbine

The operation section is divided into four regions according to the different control strategies,different regions with different control algorithm.Above the rated wind speed,two pitch controllers which control generator speed and accelerate speed respectively are introduced to respond extreme wind speed.Simulations are conducted in the professional software Bladed based on the proposed control strategies.Finally,the field experiments are carried out in wind plant of doubly-fed wind turbine.The stability and validity of control strategies are proved completely.
