In the research, construct validity and content validity were examined in terms of validity and Cronbach alpha coefficient was examined in terms of reliability. The validity of the measurement instrument was ensured as a result of the content validity and construct validity. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was found to be 0.86 for the whole test. At the end of the study, it was concluded that the Sibling Cancer Needs Instrument was a valid and reliable instrument in a 30-items and 5-sub-dimension construct. The Sibling Cancer Needs Instrument can be used as a valid and reliable measurement tool in determining the needs of children.
