PERAN REGULASI DIRI TERHADAP KESIAPAN BEALAJAR MANDIRI PADA SISWA SMAN SUMATERA SELATAN

The research objective was to determine the role of self regulation toward self directed learning readiness to the students of SMAN Sumatera Selatan. The study hypothesis is self regulation has a role to self directed learning readiness in students of SMAN Sumatera Selatan. The technique of this research is using purposive sampling which total respondents are 127 students of SMAN Sumatera Selatan. The self directed learning readiness’s scale is refer to the aspect of Guglielmino (2016), meanwhile self regulation’s scale is based on the aspect of Endler and Kocovski (2000). This research uses the analyze data of regression. The result of the regression analysis showed value of p= 0,000 (p<0,05). It showed that self regulation has significant role to self directed learning readiness. The contribution of R square= 0,444, it means that most of role self regulation in the effect of self directed learning readiness is 44,4%. The hypothesis is accepted.
