Non-contact power transmission system for a rotary steerable drilling tool

2012
The present invention relates to a non-contact power transmission system for a rotary steerable drilling tools, including high-frequency inverter, the rotary transformer and power converter; rotary transformer primary is mounted on the center of the drill pipe, installed in a non secondary rotating jacket; high-frequency inverter is located between the fixed rotary transformer and the generator slurry, the drill pipe in the center of the power converter installed in an electronic control unit; low-frequency three-phase alternating current signal outputted by the high frequency generator mud inverter single-phase AC is converted to a high-frequency signal, and outputs to the rotary transformer primary, primary and secondary rotary transformer between the inductive energy transfer by electromagnetic coupling, and then to the power converter through a rotary transformer secondary output. The present invention achieves the rotary steerable drilling tool of power transmission from the rotor to the stator coupling non-contact and meet near the drill bit downhole power supply demand of drilling equipment.
