Effects of aromatic therapy on TCM in Song Dynasty.

This article focuses on the development and popularisation of aromatic therapy in Song Dynasty from social, economical, and cultrual aspects, and the positive effects on herbal medicine, prescriptions and therapeutic principles since these drugs been widely used in clinic. In addition, it also discusses the adverse effects of aromatic drug abuse.
