Synthesis of branched polystyrene

Abstract A new experimental technique for anionic polymerization has been devised and successfully used for the investigation of the coupling reaction between living polystyryl anions and 1,3,5-trichloromethyl benzene. This reaction was complicated by a dimerization reaction involving living polymer molecules.
