Developed a new efficient technology absorption of ammonia with nitric acid to produce ammonium nitrate. The technology characterized by high productivity and provides modern requirements on the content of harmful substances in gas emissions. The main novelty of the new technology is to develop a two-stage continuous-flow method for neutralizing the ammonia in the vortex devices working with a descending way of interacting phases, followed by purification of exhaust gases in two series set of mist and spray traps, including vortex devices with an upward way of interacting phases and bag filter elements.
