A Eleven-Year Retrospective Study of Metastatic Carcinomas of the Skin: Own Experience

Accepted: March 10, 2005. SUMMARY A brief overview of some metastatic carcinomas of the skin is given. The basic principles of the metastatic process, the distribution of metastases and clinical features of the most common metastatic carcinomas of the skin are presented, along with an account of our own data based on the records of Dermatohistology Registry of the University Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Zagreb University Hospital Center, for the 1994-2004 period and presentation of 22 cases of cutaneous metastases from this eleven-year period.
