Use of the Doppler Ultrasonic Flowmeter in Extracranial-Intracranial Arterial Bypass Surgery

The Doppler ultrasonic flowmeter is a useful tool in extracranial-intracra nial bypass surgery for cerebrovascular disease. Its use in the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of treatment is described.
