Millimeter/submillimeter wave video imaging using a THz camera for outdoor conditions

This paper presents analysis and preliminary results from live video imaging tests in the millimeter/submillimeter (THz) range performed in different lighting conditions, through various obscurants over selected distances. The tests were performed using a compact THz camera based on an uncooled 384 × 288 microbolometer pixel focal plane array. A description of the camera that is sensitive over a large wavelength range is also presented.
