Polymerization of cetyltrimethylammonium methacrylate micellar solution

Abstract Micelles formed by a new surfactant such as cetyltrimethylammonium methacrylate (CTAM) are characterized. The polymerization of these micelles induces formation of polymeric aggregates which are characterized by light scattering, NMR, fluorescence spectroscopy and photoelectron transfer reactions.
