Design of the shadow detection and removal in pedestrian video detection

A fuzzy-neural network auto-classifier of the moving target and its shadows is designed.The spectral feature value is input to the network.The weight and fuzzy rule is update real-time by genetic algorithm.And the spatial feature of image is taken into account to amendment the result.Experimental results show that the application of this algorithm can improve the accuracy of pedestrian video detection.
