Effect of Sanbai Capsule on the Serum Levels of IL-2 and IL-10 in Mice with Pulmonary Tuberculosis

Objective To observe the effect of Sanbai capsule on the serum levels of IL-2 and IL-10 in mice with pulmonary tuberculosis and provide experimental evidence for clinical use of Sanbai capsule in pulmonary tuberculosis patients.Methods Pulmonary tuberculosis mice were induced by H37Rv tubercule bacillus,and then divided into model group,antituberculosis group,low dose Sanbai capsule group,and large dose Sanbai capsule group.In addition,we set blank control group.Except the model group,the other four groups were given Pasiniazid,Sanbai capsule(low dose,large dose),and normal saline,respectively,for 28 days.Then the serum levels of IL-2 and IL-10 were detected by ELISA.Results Compared with the blank control group,the serum level of IL-2 was decreased and IL-10 increased significantly(P0.01)in the model group.Compared with the model group,IL-2 was increased and IL-10 decreased significantly in the Sanbai capsule(low dose,large dose)group(P0.01 or P0.05).Conclusion The Sanbai capsule could regulate the serum levels of IL-2 and IL-10 in pulmonary tuberculosis mice.
