Krion-S performance as linac injector

Argon and Krypton with energies of 5 MeV/n have been obtained at the accelerating facility of the Laboratory of High Energies, JINR. The Cryogenic electron beam ionizer `KRION - S' was used. Beams of Argon and Krypton ions with intensities of about 4105 particles per pulse were transported into the Nuclotron vacuum chamber.
