Performance design considerations

1997
In the design and sizing of any electrostatic precipitator, both the customer and vendor have certain responsibilities to ensure that the final plant will meet the full expectations of both. This chapter will review the requirements in detail in order to achieve the most competitive offer, with the minimum of technical exposure to the vendor, while still meeting all the customer’s needs. The format to a large extent will be in the form of questions and answers, which will explain some of the methodology used in the ultimate sizing and configuration of the plant.
