Study on the Relationship between Entrepreneur Orientation, Market Orientation, Policy Orientation and Performance of Enterprise Cluster

The transformation and upgrading of SME Clusters is a big problem that needs urgent solution in the economic development of China. This paper would discuss the relationships between entrepreneur orientation, market orientation, policy orientation and other strategic orientation of enterprise clusters in fierce competition as well as their influence on the performance of enterprises. Besides, a conceptual model to analyze the relationship between entrepreneur orientation, market orientation, policy orientation and enterprise performance is proposed and empirical studies of enterprise clusters in Zhejiang province are conducted in Zhejiang province. The result of the study shows that market orientation of enterprise clusters has positive influences on the performance of enterprises, which could be either direct or indirect; and the entrepreneur orientation influences performance most. And entrepreneur orientation has positive influences on market orientation, while its influences on policy orientation is not that significant.
