Two ends of each band respectively sleeve the pressure plate and the support plate; a through hole is formed in the pressure plate, a hemostatic device is arranged on the pressure plate and comprises a power component, a transmission component and a compression component, the transmission mechanism comprises a semicircular worm gear, a semicircular guide plate and a worm, the worm is meshed and connected with the semicircular worm gear, and the compression component is positioned above the through hole. The femoral artery hemostat has the advantages that the lower surface of the thigh of a patient can be supported by the support plate, the pressure plate can cling to the upper surface of the thigh of the patient, two ends of the support plate and two ends of the pressure plate can be nested in the bands, and accordingly the thigh of the patient can be fastened; the transmission mechanism can be slowly driven by the power component to move, the worm and the semicircular worm gear are meshed with each other to move in a matched manner, guide rods can be guided by guide grooves to move, the worm can downwardly move, accordingly, the compression component can be driven to downwardly move to approach the through hole, the femoral artery of the patient can be compressed, and hemostat can be carried out; the femoral artery hemostat is easy to operate and high in efficiency and is convenient, practical and safe.
